My iMovie keeps on crashing whenever I start using the stabilizer option. It highly frustrates me. Anyone else with this problem? When creating a 2 minute clip consisting of 12 clips, iMovie easily crashes 12 times.
Please Apple, tell me stabilizing iMovie is top priority for the next software update!!

Stabilizer works fine in all versions of iMovie for the vast majority of users, though you don't say which version you are using.
Try running it after you have logged in under another account. It this works OK the problem is likely connected with some other software in your account. If it still crashes then you should re-install the application (though you will only be able to install the latest version).

I am experiencing the same problem. iMovie crashes once every 3 or 4 times I try to use "Stabilize Shaky Video". El Capitain 10.11.1 and iMovie 10.1.
Yep, the same happens to me. El Capitan 10.11.3, iMovie 10.1.1. 1:38 minute clip. Tried stabilizing under a different user, to no avail.
Just uninstalled iMovie 11. I also had iMovie 10 installed, I uninstalled it too. After reinstalling from the App Store, I no longer seem to be crashing.
Mine is crashes all the time. I will never use it. In 2014 it crushes first time. Now with the comp changed, more powerful, Sierra installed, its the same problem. No sollution so far.
