Q: There isn't an Apple Podcasts app for ATV4????

How is that possible?

    Yeah, where is that?  After NetFlix and YouTube, that was the third thing I was looking for!

    It might also be a good idea to submit feedback to the developers of some of the iOS podcasts apps (almost all of which are, in my opinion, better than Apple's), suggesting they produce one.

    Maybe Marco will step in here and release Overcast for the Apple TV. One can hope.

    There is, at least in a way.

    If you turn "HomeSharing" on in iTunes and in your AppleTV then you will find your Podcast by clicking on the "Computer" icon in AppleTV.

    I don't see that at all when I go to my Computer icon, not on ATV4, and under Sharing in the preferences panel, I have it set to share everything.  Right now the best way is to Air Play the podcasts.  I'm talking about video podcasts too, so an app like Overcast won't help me at all unless it opts to do video too.  I use Downcast for audio podcast (it does video too) because it has the most features.

    It's presumably coming as it was shown in one of their product demos along with categories in the app store for TvOS.

    Podcasts is now available on the 4th Generation Apple TV as of late January 2016.
