Nov 3, 2015 5:33 PM in response to bnichols75by Kenny.,The absence of a Podcast app is a drag! There are other buggy things like not being able to use the iPhone as a remote control and not being able to link keyboards via Bluetooth. This thing was not ready to go to market.

I always do my research before spending that much money, regardless of the brand. Seems like common sense.

Nov 27, 2015 9:01 AM in response to IdrisSeabrightby siamless,Unfortunately I don't have the time to research the internet for all the products I am spending money for - there where times when there was no internet and products didn't needed to be researched on - believe it or not: Apple had a better reputation these days. So don't try to tell me what's common sense, pls!

Back then, I went to the library and used Consumer Reports. If you don't have time to do basic research for items this expensive, then there are going to be times you are disappointed. You'll also end up spending the time dealing with figuring out why it won't do what you want and possibly with returning it. I'd imagine a small amount of time spent researching before purchase would safe you a lot of time on the back end.
Yes, Apple has a great reputation these days. That doesn't mean that every product is right for every person.

That would be "Ma'am" to you. Only the original poster can award points. And you're the one who brought up the need to do research, not me.

Dec 29, 2015 10:26 AM in response to bnichols75by beicholz,Anyone have an update on this? Can't believe Apple would release new TV without Podcasts. Really? I am downgrading, as Airplay doesn't work reliably for me.

Dec 29, 2015 4:03 PM in response to beicholzby siamless,Not too much development done by the podcast team, indeed- (see f.e.: iOS 9 podcast app video in fullscreen) "downgrading" IS a solution - as it is with other Apple products; I will take my ATV4 back to the store...
