pairing bose with bluetooth headsets

I have a pair of Bose noise canceling headsets that I can't pair with my iMac. OS 10.10.5. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I'm not sure if you have seen OS X Mavericks: Set up Bluetooth audio devices, if not please look it over and see if this helps.
