Has anyone gotten the new remote to work with the LG 55EA9800 OLED tv?

This LG model does support HDMI-CEC, however I haven't been able to get the new Apple TV remote to work with it. I've set the Apple TV up as "another box" which maybe isn't helping. I already have a TiVo connected to it, so have been unable to select "set top box". Might that be the way to go? Hoped that someone's already tried this and knows the outcome.
