Q: Family Sharing: Purchased Content Still Not Showing Up After Troubleshooting

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201454

I've troubleshooted using all of these suggestions from the article above but I still can't seem to share my purchases with my wife.

We're both in the US. I've signed in and out of iTunes on both devices. I've made sure that shared purchases are on. No purchases are hidden. I've performed a hard reset on both devices. None of these things have provided a solution.

Are there any additional suggestions to try to get family sharing working?

I had the same problem. Both of you should go into your icloud account and compare your icloud and itunes login to make sure they are the same. Then if not login to the itunes and app store one with your iCloud one. Next, both of you should turn off "share my purchases", then wait a few seconds and turn it back on. To do this, go to ICloud-Family-Me-Share my purchases. Make sure to turn it back on. Then check each others itunes and app stores, Let me know if this does not work.

I have pretty much an identical problem, and I've done everything you have. All I have to show for it is a frustratingly blank library.

can you please clarify what you mean when you say "compare your iCloud and iTunes login to make sure they are the same?"

i set up family sharing for me and my minor son.  on my phone/ipad/mac i'm logged in to iCloud and iTunes with my info and on his iPad he's logged in under his info.  are you implying both of us need to be using the same user id for everything?  the only way i could get the ask to buy feature to work on his iPad was to sign him in under his own info and then add him to my family.

if what i've done is correct then i'm in the same boat with the others.  i've gone through the troubleshooting and none of my info shows up on his iPad.

I had this same issue and spent hours trying to trouble shoot before finally stumbling into the fix from my iPad.  In the App Store, go to the "Purchased" screen then tap "My Purchases" in the upper left corner.  A "Family Purchases" window should pop up to let you see purchases from others in you family.  Hope this helps.

Thanks the for info. It worked.

I find it frustrating that none of the instructions provided by Apple mentioned this.  it seems like something that should be brought up at some point.

    Thanks again.

THANK YOU! Good grief, what happened to Apple's design team that they've so completely lost track of usability?
