Q: Audio problems

I've imported an mp3 music track into my project; it plays perfectly in iTunes and in the viewer in FC Studio. However, when I import it into the timeline, it has little interruptions as it plays…I presume it has something to do with my timeline settings. Please could someone advise?

    FCP doesn't work natively with MP3 files (or other types of highly compressed audio).  Convert the MP3 file to an AIF file at 48khz, 16 bit, then import the AIF into your FCP project.  You can use QuickTime Pro 7 or iTunes to convert.
