Jun 23, 2016 11:33 AM in response to 59dinpaby tehlers,This solution didn't work for me. Just to be clear on the problem, my Magic mouse stops scrolling after the computer is on for while. Usually it happens after I leave the computer for a while and the external monitor goes dim and I need to retype my password to get back to the screen. It happens regularly. I'm running a 2016 (2nd gen) Macbook, El Capitan v 10.11.15, and connected to a Dell 27" monitor via HDMI (not that that should matter).
If I restart the computer I get scrolling back for a while. Deleting the mouse under blue tooth preferences and re-adding it like the previous post doesn't seem to work. I've notice from other discussions this is a persistent problem in older version of OS X also. El Capitan is the first time I've had the problem.
Any ideas / suggestions? Thanks.
