Q: The language is Chinese and the remote is not working. Any ideas on how to solve?

Tyring to set up Apple TV. The language is Chinese and the remote is not resonding. I plugged in to charge but still not working. Help.

On phone wiht tech support for 2nd time. They don't seem to have answer. Chargng the remote for few hours did nothing.

Same Issue here. spoke with Apple Care, was elevated to supervisor, and was informed that I probably have "one of the bad ones". Hopefully a swap out will be the answer.
