Replace MBA mid 2011 64GB SSD

Can I physically replace an Apple SSD TS064C drive in a MBA (4,1 mid 2011) with a larger Apple 256GB SSD (Samsung MZ-CPA2560/0A5) taken from a 13 inch MBA (4,2 mid 2011). I know that this 11 inch MBA64 model will not physically accommodate some other larger 3rd party drives. It's such a pain to pull the MBAs apart carefully (screw stripping sings to mind!), that if anyone knows the answer (and knows it has been done) I'd be grateful.

MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1), 11 inch mid 2011, MBA 4,1

I think both SSDs are the same size. But you will find that out soon enough when you open up both machines and test the length of the SSD. Best of luck!

Thanks. .. I appreciate your interest GhonaZ, but my last sentence held the clue to my request... if anyone knows that it has been done... I'd just like to avoid opening the clam cases for nothing.
