IPOD Freeze up while viewing pictures

While viewing photos one at a time on 80GB ipod the unit will freeze and I have to let the battery run down to get it to unfreeze. Once on a charger everything is fine again. Anyonw have any suggestions.

PC, Windows XP Pro, AMD dual core

Have you tried connecting your iPod to a charging adaptor, and resetting it? To reset your iPod, read here -> Resetting your iPod

It may take several attempts before your iPod works after resetting it.

Does your iPod freeze anymore when viewing the pictures?

when your ipod freezes you can reset it which will usually cause it to unfreeze. that way you dont have to let the battery totally run down to get a reaction out of it.. PUSH AND HOLD the menu button and the middle button at the same time for 10 seconds.. this may take a few trys and works best if hooked to power.
