I understand that you are not getting any sound from your iPad. Since your device is not in Airplane mode or on Mute, take a look at the remainder of the troubleshooting steps in the article below that haven't been processed. This also includes the last section labeled:
If you follow these steps and still hear no sound or distorted sound, contact us.
