An unknown error occured (-11800)

I bought the New Apple TV, that was deleviered on Friday as expected. All seemed to be great until I started using AIrplay to play my music through my Apple TV. always seem to be getting this error message when I click on a song "The operation could not be completed: An unknwon error occurred (-11800)" [Picture below]. Then it will skip that song (and sometimes a few songs) and start playing a song further into the album. I can keep clicking on the song I wanna play and get the same error message a few times before it FINALLY plays that song. But this is getting out of hand. Is this ANOTHER problem with yet ANOTHER Apple product? Or is it this time something that can be fixed? I ask because every Apple product I am receiving lately always has something wrong with it.

There is also something about my New Apple TV, it doesn't seem to function properly, sometimes when I press the menu button it losing a picture for a few seconds and jumps back in, sometimes I have totally lost internet, yet still had internet on other devices.

I also should mention I have the Apple TV (2nd Generation) too (corrently also connected), and my music will play without that error message coming up, just plays fine. Also if I listen to music though my headphones or out load on my iPhone or iPad I never get that error message. I only get it when I am connected to the new Apple TV.

A few people have had this error message in the past and it has been unanswered, I hope the same outcome doesn't happen to me as I am desperate for an answer. Please help!!

Thanks for anyone who reads this.

Yes. Everything else works fine. I can also now confirm it is only the default Music App on iOS 9.1 with the problem, because I have found a temporary quick fix. I have downloaded a few third party music apps, and they all work with no problem. I am using the "HF Onkyo Player" as a temporary replacement. Yes it is a really ugly app and nowhere rear as as well built as the default Music App in really any way (least in my opinion), but it will do just fine until Apple bring out an update to fix this issue. I hope this helps in the mean time!

I am guessing you are talking about when you press on the Apple Remote and the Apple TV doesn't turn on instantly? If that is the case it is because on the older generation Apple TV's, your remote was always connected to the Apple TV (as in when you point it at the Apple TV, it would work instantly and turn on the Apple TV that second). The new Apple Remote turns itself off when it is laying dormant for a long amount of time to reserve it's battery life. So that can make it seem like it taking the Apple TV a while to load, but really it's the remote not booted up yet. My conslusion is, personally I don't think you have anything to worry about,.. BUT, if you are really worried I would either call Apple or take it to your local Apple Store, because I am not a professional, and they are. They should be able to diagnose it for you, just for peace of mind.

I hope this helps!

Apple do already know about this problem. I went one step further and reported it to Apple's Bug Reporter a few weeks back. A few days later I got an email saying my case was closed due to someone else already reporting the problem, and they were already looking for a fix.

Hopefully there will be a fix in iOS 9.2, I mean in BETA's there has been a very small changes to the music App.
