I understand that you have a concern with the battery life of your MacBook Pro. I would need more information on this issue to possibly provide a better answer. Is the MacBook Pro plugged in during this time? Do you have any external peripherals plugged into your Mac? Do you place your Mac to sleep or close the lid? Thank you for the follow-up information and I do apologize for the delay in my response. I would start with an SMC reset to see if that resolves the issue. If it persists while not plugged in and in sleep mode, go through the steps in second article below.
