How to sort list of favorites in Maps

It is possible to change the order of the various items in your list of favorites in the Maps application, but it has to be done manually. Here is how you can do it yourself -

1. Launch Maps.
2. Click on the magnifying glass icon in the search bar and select Favorites from the resulting menu. You should now see a list of your favorites.
3. Click the Edit button in the lower right.
4. You can now drag different items in the list to the location you desire.
5. Click the Done button in the lower right when you have finished.

Umm sorry, but there is NO edit option for Apple Maps in iOS 10.2, can't even press and hold to drag/sort. Zip, nada...Apple has deemed to dumbify the app completely. They are becoming the new Microsoft Windows 10.

I have the latest iOS and there is NO edit button to rearrange or sort favorites in maps. Please add Apple! Thank you.

FWIW, the edit button is for the OSX versions, not the iOS versions.

And where in OsX you can actually edit favorites> I wasn't lucky to finr id
