Can you verify that you meet the Requirements for Software Update Service - Apple Support ? Are you trying to create a USB Installer?

Hi, thanks for your reply. I am very new to mac and all these installation stuff. I didn't try to make a usb installer. I read from the internet that no need for a usb installer in el capitan boot camp assistant. so i tried using iso files. regarding the requirements for software update service i think there is no problem from my side. also i tried 2 internet connections.

    ##

    # localhost is used to configure the loopback interface

    # when the system is booting.  Do not change this entry.

As a test, can you install Brigadier (https://github.com/timsutton/brigadier) and test a manual download for your specific Model identifier using the '-m' qualifier?

    MyName-rmbp:brigadier-master MyName$ ./brigadier -h

    Usage: brigadier [options]

    Options:

-h, --help            show this help message and exit

      -m MODEL, --model=MODEL

System model identifier to use (otherwise this

machine's model is used). This can be specified

multiple times to download multiple models in a single

                            run.

-i, --install         After the installer is downloaded, perform the install

automatically. Can be used on Windows only.

      -o OUTPUT_DIR, --output-dir=OUTPUT_DIR

Base path where the installer files will be extracted

into a folder named after the product, ie.

'BootCamp-041-1234'. Uses the current directory if

                            this option is omitted.

-k, --keep-files      Keep the files that were downloaded/extracted. Useful

only with the '--install' option on Windows.

      -p PRODUCT_ID, --product-id=PRODUCT_ID

Specify an exact product ID to download (ie.

'031-0787'), currently useful only for cases where a

model has multiple BootCamp ESDs available and is not

downloading the desired version according to the post

                            date.

    MyName-rMBP:brigadier-master MyName$ ./brigadier -m MacBook8,1 -o Bootcamp-MacBook8,1

Output directory Bootcamp-MacBook8,1 that was specified doesn't exist!

    MyName-rMBP:brigadier-master MyName$ mkdir Bootcamp-MacBook8.1

    MyName-rMBP:brigadier-master MyName$ ./brigadier -m MacBook8,1 -o Bootcamp-MacBook8.1

It will create a WindowsSupport.dmg. It validates that your network connection may not be an issue.

You can try running the following two procedures and try BC Assistant after the Brigadier download finished.

Are you downloading this over a Wireless network? If yes, can you test with a Wired connection. If Brigadier has a URL connection issue, it is the same for BC Assistant as well.

Please post back when your are ready. It should finish successfully. If it does, you can try the wired connection with BCA and test.
