i cannot access my laptop as it is not accepting my password no matter what i do resetting it etc!!!

Help!!! I cannot log on to my laptop because no matter what ive done resetting password in apple it doesn't accept it to sign in!!!

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I see you are having difficulties logging into your MacBook because it isn't accepting the password. After checking the normal "gotchas" with a password, for example, caps lock, mixing "O" for "0", "I" for "1" or "l" (lower case L), etc. I would take a look at the following article:

OS X El Capitan: If you forget your login password

If you are still having issues, then you might want to reset the password again:

OS X El Capitan: Reset a login password

When resetting the password, I would suggest something simple at first, then you can change it later for a more secure password.
