Here is another trick on how to "lock" a Drummer Region.
You can actually copy a Drummer Region from a Drummer Track and paste it onto a Software Instrument Track. This will create a MIDI Region based on the settings of the Drummer Region. But now you have the advantage that you can edit the individual MIDI Events, for example, delete or add a crash cymbal, or any other MIDI Event.
Here is the procedure:
-1- First, create a new Software Instrument Track (opt+cmd+S)
-2- This is the important part. You have to load the same Patch to that new Software Instrument Track that the Drummer Track is using. Just select the Drummer Track and open the Library (Y) on the left. Look at the Sounds area, what Patch is currently selected. In my screenshot it is the Drum Kit ➤ SoCal. Remember that and now select the Software Instrument Track. It displays your default Patch for that Track. Now navigate in the Library to that same drum patch (SoCal) and click on it. That loads the same Drum Patch to that Software Instrument that is used on the Drummer Track

-3- On the Drummer Track with a Drummer Region, right-click on the Drummer Region and choose from the Shortcut Menu ➤ Copy (or select the Drummer Region and use the Key Command cmd+C)

-4- Select the Software Instrument Track (and position the Playhead to the position where you want to paste the Region) and click cmd+V to paste the Drummer Region as a MIDI Region on that Track containing all the MIDI Events according to the Drummer Regions' setting.

-5- The Software Instrument Track now should sound exactly as the Drummer Track. You can move and edit the MIDI Region at your own will.
Hope that helps
