My devices can't see each other w/ AirDrop

I have an iPhone 6 and a MBP running Yosemite. Both have AirDrop setup. If I got to AirDrop on either I can see every device around me EXCEPT MY phone or MY laptop. They are right next to each other. In fact they are literally touching.

What's the problem?

Started with that, didn't work. AirDrop is working on both devices; I can see other devices around me. I just can't see my phone from my laptop, or my laptop from my phone.
