Q: Does FCP export blank audio tracks of sequence?

Hi

I use FCPX these days, but am exporting some audio sequences from FCP.

If I export a sequence with 4 audio tracks, let's say, and 2 are blank, do they get exported?

If so, would that effect the sound? You'd think so, right?

Unless you configure FCP7 to export a multitrack QuickTime, you will only get a two track QuickTime regardless of the number of tracks in your timeline.

If there is nothing on the tracks, they are silent. Silent (empty) tracks will not effect the output in any way.
