How to tell if your iPhone speaker is blown

i have blue tooth in my car and I've been trying to use it lick I have for awhile now. My radio works in all speakers but if I turn my Bluetooth on only the driver side of the car speakers work. I tried to use a usb cable in a different car and only the driver side worked again. My phone started making some weird sound everytime I tried to play music just listen to it and if I got a message or hit a thing on Facebook it made a weird sound. So does that mean my speak is about to go out or what?

Hi, lindsay.

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

I understand that you are only able to hear audio out of one channel in multiple vehicles. This sounds like the audio volume balance may be adjusted to the left channel. You can check to see if this is the case by going to Settings > General > Accessibility and under Hearing you'll notice a slider that allows you to adjust the balance between left or right. Adjust this to this middle and test to see if this resolves the issue.

Mono audio and balance
