Q: Why are my display option different from what is shown above in this article? I have no rotation, refresh rate, and overscan settings.

I have been trying to fix an overscan issue from my macbook to my apple tv. I don't have any options to fix the overscan issue on my computer like the article about over and underscanning shows, and the the overscanning setting on turned on, on my apple tv. The over scan setting on the apple tv does help a little but it's not enough. the edge of my screen is still cut off. so much so that the top bar can't be seen. It also has nothing to do with the zoom setting on my TV. I have no issues with overscanning on any other apple tv function or any other device. I have even tried changing the aspect ratio settings on my TV but that only made the problem worse.
