Are you sure you want to leave this page dialogue box

Overtime an add or pop-ups occurs and I go to close it a dialogue box comes up asking me if I am sure i want to leave this page or if I would like to stay on it. I find this verification annoying. Suggestions on how to disable this so when I click the the 'x' it closes immediately?

Thanks.

1. Force Quit Safari.

Force Quit .

Press command + option + esc keys together at the same time. Wait.

When Force Quit window appears, select Safari if not already.

Press Force Quit button at the bottom of the window. Wait.

Safari will quit.

2. Relaunch Safari holding the shift key down.

This will launch Safari in Safe Mode.

The scam page that crashed Safari will not return.
