Q: Not able to use photos on photos app on MacBook

It's a bit frustrating. When I take photos on my iPhone, I can see them on my photos app on my MacBook. But when I tried to use the photos, for example, tried to attract a photo to an email, I just won't be able to see the photos that I wanted to use. It's like it is there but it isn't when you want to use it. It's so strange and annoying.

iMac, iOS 7.1.2

Howdy SFSFSF2013,

I understand that you're not seeing all of your photos in the Media Browser when trying to access your photos from another application (such as adding attachments to an email). This may be the result of using iCloud Photo Library on your Mac with the Optimize Mac Storage option enabled. The article linked below provides more information about this, along with ways to get the desired photos to appear in the Media Browser.
