I had an apple tv 3rd gen and had no issues. With my new 4th gen I have had issues where it causes the receiver to spontaneously reboot while playing back various content. It has happened watching a Netflix more and music as well as Youtube videos.
Is there a way to fix this? A setting I need to address? I'm clueless.

Hey, same issue for me. I have a Marantz receiver and tried changing and reassigning inputs. No change. I've sent an email to Marantz as well, however it seems to be an Apple TV issue, since all other devices function normally.
Have you tried changing the settings at settings > Audio & Video > Audio > Surround Sound
Tried changing the Audio settings from Auto to Dolby, seeming to be working. Thanks!!!
