How do I get Logic X to import a Conductor Tempo map track from Digital Performer 9

I have a crazy tempo map done originally in Digital Performer 5 now up and present in DP9. I had never seen how many changes were in the conductor track

and there must be 50 or so, so many that to deal with it manually would be ridiculous...Can't believe I went to all that trouble years ago..

I have been able to export the Conductor track from DP9 as a "clipping" and I have read on other forums that it needs to be isolated as the conductor track only

and I think it is, b/c I had only the conductor track highlighted and the entire duration of it in the midi tracks portion of the window also highlighted... and then chose "Export as clipping file" from DP9. Have also exported the conductor track "selection as midi file" and logic will not open that one, or let me drop it into the environment. It does seem to open the clipping file but it drops it in the Beat Map area of Logic X, but it's only about an inch long instead of the length of the entire song, as the conductor track, so that's another issue. Why is it showing up as only a an inch worth of Conductor Data in Logic?

So, I don't know what I have to do to get this conductor track into Logic X (I'm using Mavricks 10.9.5) so that it will work and implement all these tempo changes & follow the audio tracks & sync properly with the midi data.

This is an important project, trying to finish it after many years and if I can't get the extensive midi work I did to sync up with the real instrumentation I'd have to

replay it all manually, which I am starting to think might be an only option? Probably many weeks worth of midi work lost if I can't use the data. I got the beginning midi all synced up and then forgot that there were a zillion tempo changes yet to come and at that point the midi fell totally out of sync with the original audio tracks...

If anyone can advise or help, much appreciated and if more info. is needed please ask.

Thanks~!
