Nov 3, 2015 10:38 AM in response to zinacefby Erik_eDragon,That didn't answer me.
I have knowledge of everything in my phone. I have 4.8Gb of photos/videos. Wanna get rid of most of them, having copies in iCloud.
I don't want to erase Apps and songs I currently have.
Is this possible ?
Thanks.

Then to answer your question - yes, removing unwanted photos and videos will reduce your storage space.

Nov 3, 2015 10:48 AM in response to zinacefby Erik_eDragon,oh my... that's not what I asked!
Again, my concern is IF I remove photos/videos from the phone, will they be AUTOMATICALLY DELETED from my iCloud synced account also ??
I hope they WON'T, since I want to keep them online (iCloud) and NOT in the phone.
Got it ?
Thanks!

Nov 3, 2015 10:56 AM in response to zinacefby Erik_eDragon,Well, that's awkward then...
Why do they sell 50Gb, 200Gb etc space for iCloud if we don't even get close in having all that space in iOS devices ?
It would make sense if we could keep an online backup for all our photos and videos! If not, there's no sense in having 200Gb plan!

Oh, I agree wholeheartedly with you. You'd think they would have something in the middle like 100 GB or 150 GB. Personally I use another cloud storage for my photos/videos.

Nov 3, 2015 11:04 AM in response to zinacefby Erik_eDragon,I just found out this:
http://time.com/3559339/iphone-icloud-photo-library/
Which is a "trick" to compress the photos in the iOS and have the high def files in iCloud.
But still, one day the compressed files will fill up my device and I'll be stuck again with a space problem. <sigh>

For me I use a third party to store my photos/videos with unlimited storage. Works for me and keeps the space on my iPhone free!
