Q: Something seems to be wrong with the Notes upgrade on my iPhone. The Share to Notes feature does not seem to understand the Notes upgrade has been done.
At the time of the iOS upgrade I delayed upgrading notes until I installed OS X 10.11. I then went around on my Macs and iPhone and did the Notes upgrades.
All seems well except that when I try to use the Share to Notes feature on the iPhone it says I have to upgrade Notes and provides a link to it for that purpose. However in Notes there is no upgrade option, presumably because I already did it.
It looks like something about the Notes upgrade status that Share to Notes looks at did not get set correctly on the iPhone. I can't see a way to fix this.
Note that Share to Notes works on the Macs, and Notes on the iPhone can read those notes, and on the iPhone directly creating and editing notes in Notes, using features like hand drawn lines work. So Notes itself seems to understand everything is upgraded but the Share to Notes feature does not and I can't find a way to fix it.
