Q: How to purchase books in US store if based on another will international card acceptable.

My Appstore is based in Saudi Arabia and i learned that the book i wish to purchase is only available in US store -

1. can a saudi based credit card - International feasible to purchase the book. Please advise alternative options/solutions.

2. once the book is purchased, if i shift back to my local store is the purchased book remains in my library and still accessible.

3. can i purchase the book as a gift and send to saudi based recipient? will it be accessible immediately to the recipient or does he need to change store to US also.

Please advise. thanks.

    You cannot use the US store unless you are in the US with a US billing address - being in a country is part of the store's terms.

     

    It looks like currently only free ibooks are available in the Saudi store so contacting the book's publisher and asking them to allow Apple to sell it there won't work. Is it available on other ebook apps/stores that you have access to there e.g. Kobo ?
