White haze/lines on screen of iPad

I have bought a refurbished iPad mini, in the apple store but every now and then when I turn on the screen I got white lines.

Sometimes it's solved by just pressing the on/off button, sometimes I need to close the cover a couple of times before it's solved.

Would this be a hardware issue? And would this be a trip to the pple store?
