Q: Pre ordered iBook will not download!

I preordered an iBook a couple months back, and when it finally came out, I went to download it. It gives me the option to "READ" but when I click it, it says "insufficient amount remaining". I looked in my library and it says "preordered" yet when I click it, it leads to the previ problem. Help!

Have you now paid for it - does it show on your account's purchase history : See your purchase history in the iTunes Store on a Mac or PC - Apple Support ?

Pre-orders are only paid for when they are released, if you haven't got sufficient balance on your account (and don't have a credit card on the account) then iTunes will not have been able to collect the money for it. What is the full text of the message that you are getting, is it about an insufficient balance on your iTunes account ?
