Q: Lossless export of audio files in FCP 7?

Hi

If, in FCP 7, I want to export aif audio files, maybe to wav, will that be lossless?

Would it be better to export aif as aif?

A:

WAV and AIF are just containers. Unless you recompress, it'll be lossless. But FCP only exports AIF, not WAV...so I'd do that.
