Siri Remote Scans at slightest touch - Apple Test Groups? Who did they use??
I KNOW....Im not the only one who keeps the remote close to them in bed...however, if you accidentally touch the pad while playing a movie......the movie will start scanning through.
Maybe...shouldn't it be a "click" on the wipe pad FIRST to pause go into scan mode..and then the swipe should work for scanning as a protective step? Maybe turn of live scrubbing ...an option to turn off?
Don't get me wrong it's a beautiful feature...but I'm thinking about using the old remote...because I just prefer the pause/play button in the center of all the other buttons. It just makes more sense.
I, like a lot of other posters here...have a few other annoying aspects to the new ATV like bluetooth and programming a Universal Remote .....and a lot of these other annoyances could've been avoided by Apple setting up group of non standard mainstream people - there are a lot of long-term users who would be more than happy to test these devices. A lot of these annoyances SHOULD HAVE BEEN CAUGHT!!!
I'm just so shocked that a lot of these questions/issues/problems could've been avoided by thorough wider testing. There are thousands of people who are have decent critiquing insights to help avoid the innundation of questions here.
