There is an alternative available to you, use a second line with its own number for business. A VOIP line.
I use a VOIP service on my phone, which gives me 2 numbers that I can use to make or receive calls, it is independent of the line provided by my phones carrier, it makes/receives calls and texts, it has its own voicemail, so business callers can call me at one number and I can return their calls, their messages end up on voicemail that is separated from the personal voicemail. The service is free and flexible but it gives me a business line (and number) that rings on the same phone that I carry around. It can also be moved from phone to phone so it remains constant no matter how often I feel like changing carriers.
Google Voice is a common choice, for various reasons I elected to use a different VOIP provider (talkatone) but thats only because I dislike Google, functionality is the same.
I travel to the UK frequently which means that if business callers need to contact me they dial the same number and wherever in the world I am they get charged for a local call.
