I found my iPad but cannot turn off Lost Mode

Lost it. THrough my phone i turned on lost mode. Next day I found it in the office. Entered the 6 digit code. Great. Now trying to use it and it won't slide to unlock. iCloud says lost mode is off. What's up?

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)
