Album artwork won't download in iTunes 12.3

When I add new songs and albums to my library, iTunes won't download the artwork for most of the songs. I don't get an error message or anything; it just doesn't do it.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

If album artwork cannot be downloaded for your music, then there may be security software from blocking the download. To help troubleshoot this issue I suggest that you follow through the steps in the link below.

Resolve issues between iTunes and third-party security software

I have a similar issues. In addition, when i try to manually update the cover art from a ripped cd, it shows up in the upload artwork window, and when i hit enter, it disappears. some of my artwork is gone - and it seems random.

How can this get corrected?
