how to reset Airport Express A1264
I have done what others suggested but it is not resetting.
Any ideas or suggestions?

We don't know what others have suggested, but the bottom line here is that there are two different ways to reset the Express back to factory default settings.......mechanical and software.

Software instructions......if you can access the Express using AirPort Utility......would be to click the Base Station menu at the top of the screen, then click Restore Default Settings.
If the mechanical reset does not work, try the software reset method. If you cannot "see" the Express in AirPort Utility or if you can and the software reset still does not work.......then you have a defective AirPort Express that will need to be replaced.
The A1264 is at least about 4 years old, and as much as 8.....and the average useful life of this model, on average, was about 3 years.....so that may be affecting things here.
