icloud account contact information not available

Had the same problem. My answer in 2017 is: don't use it. When I add up all the technology issues from not available to need to reauthenticate, reset a password, forgot the password, delete app and reinstall, reboot computer, yada, yada, yada, yada. If it doesn't work first time everytime I simply don't' use it unless I absolutely have to. Was going to set up the Apple Watch unlock thing, but can't get into the account. I have better things to do than to be stressed by technology.

Try signing out of iCloud completely, then sign back in. Enable all services you were using before.

To verify your Account information, try going to the main site:

https://appleid.apple.com/

Sign out of Messages on your computer and then sign back in. See if that fixed the problem. Also make sure the problem is not with your daughter's phone.

In the Contacts app are there any details ?

If it has been set to sync before and it cannot connect to the server you use for syncing it will be empty.

Does your iPhone show the details ?

i.e. is it connecting to the Server.
