Nov 5, 2015 3:25 PM in response to Slippinby julieda,My watch sounds appear to be OK. Have you tried checking your settings on your iPhone Watch App? (Sounds & Haptics) Double check your various settings. Hope this helps.

If your sound settings are correct, try these steps (which may address any software issue), checking your watch after each stage:
Restart both your iPhone and your watch. Turn both off together, then restart your iPhone before your watch:
- To turn your watch off: press and hold the side button until you see the Power Off slider, then drag it to turn off. To turn it back on: press and hold the side button until you see the logo.
Force restart both devices (iPhone first, followed immediately by the watch):
- iPhone: press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home button for around 10 seconds, until you see the logo.
- Watch: press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for around 10 seconds, until you see the logo.
Unpair and re-pair your watch:
- The Watch app on your iPhone takes watch backups automatically, including a fresh one when unpairing. When setting it up again, choose to restore your watch from backup. Most data and settings will be restored, with some exceptions (eg Apple Pay cards).

- Set up your Apple Watch - Apple Support
If the issue persists after trying these steps, contact Apple Support (mail-in service may be available) or make a Genius Bar reservation with a view to having your watch checked under warranty:

Aug 5, 2016 4:44 PM in response to Jonathan UKby Simon Rioux,I also had the speaker from my Apple Watch go completely silent; no matter if I tried to pair again, or anything else, the speaker did not emit any sound. I had the watch replaced under warranty. The same thing happened again recently, and I was able to tie it to something I did.
I wore my Apple Watch in salt water (pool), and the sound was lost the next day. So I figure that the water that seeped inside the speaker enclosure had evaporated, but the salt stayed which immobilized the tiny cone. I just let my watch sit in warm water (warm enough to dissolve salt) for about 10 minutes, and let it dry. Next day, the sound was super powerful once again!
I believe that anyone who sweats a lot, and that sweat bead into the speaker enclosure, might obstruct the speaker movement. I would urge people with low/no sound on the Apple Watch to try this trick, and let me know if it worked for you!

Aug 5, 2016 5:15 PM in response to Slippinby Jonathan UK,It may also help to clean your watch, paying particular attention to the speaker port (on the reverse of the watch, on the opposite side to the Digital Crown) in case it has become blocked by debris.
Be sure to follow Apple's cleaning instructions. These include that, if the watch has been exposed to any other liquid than fresh water, it should be cleaned (the cloth may be dampened with fresh water) and then dried using a lint-free, microfibre cloth.
If the watch has got wet and the speaker sounds muffled afterwards (including after being cleaned, if appropriate), the watch should be placed speaker side down on a lint-free, microfibre cloth to see if any water drips out. Any water should be allowed to evaporate (do not shake the watch or insert anything into the port and do not use heat, compressed air or sprays).
