Q: After OS X EL update boot camp doesn't appear Windows partition

I see few people has similar problem but their solution has not solve my problem.

I have Mac Book Pro 17inch 2009mid and has 1x1TB SSD and 1x 500GB HD.

OS X Yosemite was working fine and also boot camp with Windows 8.1 but after i have updated to OS X EL Cap. Boot Camp is no more on start up. All my programs and important stuff is in Windows partition, i hope i can get them back :-(....

Here is some info from my disk;

We need to create a new MBR and test. This MBR must be created on the correct disk. OS X can change disk numbering and re-order disks. I will use diskN as a place holder. You will need to run diskutil list and pick the correct value of N that points to the following disk. Since you have two EFI partitions, if you see any errors, please stop.

    -bash-3.2# gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0

    gpt show: /dev/disk0: mediasize=1024209543168; sectorsize=512; blocks=2000409264

gpt show: /dev/disk0: Suspicious MBR at sector 0

Rebuild MBR to match the new GPT information thus resetting the Hybrid MBR. Use defaults for other questions (like partition codes). The only values that need modifications are the Boot flags and step 10. Accept all other defaults that Gdisk offers. Please see the sample Q&A as an example. These steps can be repeated if you make a mistake before you get to Step 12, otherwise start from Step 1 for these steps. Step 6 has numbers which are typed with a space between the numbers. Please see the sample Q&A before you execute these steps.

    1. Sudo gdisk /dev/rdiskN
    2. P  (Print list of parts)
    3. R  (Recover)
    4. O (print current Hybrid MBR)
    5. H (chooses Hybrid)
    6. Partitions numbers to be hybridized: 5 6
    7. Y  (Good for GRUB question)
    8. Y  (part 5 boot flag)
    9. N  (part 6 boot flag)
    10. O  (print current Hybrid MBR)
    11. W (Write the new MBR)
    12. Y (Yes! write the new MBR)
    13. Reboot

Here is sample Q&A for this section. Please notice the Press Enter/Return.

Place EFI GPT (0xEE) partition first in MBR (good for GRUB)? (Y/N): Y

Creating entry for GPT partition #5 (MBR partition #2)

Enter an MBR hex code (default AF): Press Enter/Return

Set the bootable flag? (Y/N): Y

Creating entry for GPT partition #6 (MBR partition #3)

Enter an MBR hex code (default AB): Press Enter/Return

Set the bootable flag? (Y/N): N

Test 1 - Does Bootcamp Volume show up in Finder?

Test 2 - Can you see files in Bootcamp Volume?

Test 3 - Can you select Bootcamp in System Preferences -> Startup Disk?

Test 4 - If Test 3 is successful, select Bootcamp and Click Restart.

This indicates a third-party NTFS driver controlling the Windows partition. You need to remove all such software.

This indicates your Windows requires Startup Repair.

    How?

Do you still have Tuxera on your Mac? You should be able to uninstall it.

For Repair, if you use an older version of the Windows installer, it will give you an error. Do you have W8 or W8.1?
