Q: AirDrop Not Working on El Capitan
After I installed OS X El Capitan, AirDrop stopped working between my MacBook Pro and my iPhone 5C updated to iOS 9.1. I have spent a lot of time reading the other posts and trying the different solutions and nothing is working for me. This includes:
- Restarting
- Checking all my setting
- Turning Bluetooth off
- Deleting the preferences file /Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist
- Turning Bluetooth back on
- Resetting network: Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Now, I have to re-enter all the passwords to my wifi connections an AirDrop still doesn't work. I am seriously bummed!
I've started a new post because I don't want this to get lost in the long list of "I have the same problem" because it's believed that the issue is resolved. This may be the case for a few, but not the majority. This has to be a bug. Please fix this!
