Q: How do i permanently disable the find friends app? It always depletes my battery no matter what id do. Even turn off my device.

My Ipod has an app that tell me what app is using a certain amount of battery. Google drive depletes my battery and so does find friends but i was able to delete google drive but i can't turn off find my friends. Is there a way to permanently keep find friends off?

IPod Touch 5th gen, iOS 9.1, remove it, it's pointless anyway

Find My Friends is now an integral part of the iOS. You cannot delete it.

Find My Friends or anything else cannot use battery on the device if it is turned off. If you go to Settings>Privacy>Location Services>Find My Friends and make sure that it is turned off there. You can also open Find My Friends and then click on you at the bottom of the page. See if Share My Location is turned on. If you do that, unless you open the app, it won't be on. It cannot use that much battery. I have it set to find two different people on mine, and I do not notice it at all. As a matter of fact, I've only opened it once today, and it does not even appear yet in Settings>Battery, so it hasn't even used enough checking to appear in the battery usage list.
