Trying to update from 10.5.8 to 10.6, every time the computer restarts it ejects the disk and the install doesn't complete. Any ideas?

Does the disc look like this? If not, you need to call the Apple Store at 1-800-MYAPPLE to order it.
Does it say update, dropin, OEM, or upgrade on it? If no, then is your data backed up?
How big is your hard drive and how full is it?
Are you sure everything you have will work with it?
