Q: My mousepad is not working, and my keyboard is slightly not responsive.

I have a question about my MacBook Pro,

I seriously don't know why my MacBook's keyboard is somewhat responsive to the keys that I have pressed, and also muse DOESN'T move or click on anything. But when I have a wireless mouse, it will move, and click fine. What shouId I do?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, For university.

    Hi nomoreparadise,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

I understand that you are having issues with both the built-in keyboard and trackpad on your MacBook Pro. Because both the trackpad and keyboard are affected, this may be a hardware issue. To troubleshoot the keyboard, I would recommend reading over and working through the information in the following article.

One or more keys on the keyboard do not respond - Apple Support

If the keyboard isn’t showing a response, it may be necessary to have your computer evaluated for service. If you would like to explore this option, please read over the following link for information on bringing your Mac in for service at an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.
