Google search results page is messed up all of a sudden.

The font is really tiny and the orientation is vertical even though I have IPad on horizontal. I cannot zoom on the text unless I switch to desktop view. I have tried every setting and even reset my IPad but no change. Then I downloaded Chrome but the results were exactly the same. This must be a Google issue so I sent a report but wondering if anyone else was have not this problem and if there is any solution. This happened all of a sudden last night.

Does it look like the screenshot below ? They seem to have changed the design of their website.

Yes! It is horrible! The font is so small I can't read it! I thought it was my IPad. I spent hours last night working on this.

I agree, it's horrible. I never understand the idea of using only a small part of the page. You can try the desktop site . Tap the share icon then tap request desktop site.

Yes, I did that. The layout is still messed up but I can zoom in on the font. I don't understand why you can't zoom in the mobile version. It is ridiculous and makes my Ipad virtually unusable for doing searches.

I think that iOS is directing users to the mobile site now for some reason. When I switched search engines earlier in the Safari settings to Bing, I got the same thing.

BY the way, I found this out last night. Hold down on the reload button to get Request Desktop Site.

Have you tried using window zoom in zoom ? You get a magnifying glass you can move around.

I Don't like to fool around with accessibility settings. I have seen it, but I would rather pinch to zoom, if I need to zoom. That is an Accessiblilty setting, correct?

Thanks for the tip on Request desktop site, it should come in handy. If Google is directing to a mobile site they're late to the party, Bing always looked like that. I still don't understand why they can use the whole page.

Correct, I mentioned that to Sah because the page doesn't pinch to zoom. I'll teach you a neat trick tomorrow you can triple click the home button and get window zoom, it's like magic. But that's all for me for now.
