Sound is quiet then loud when remote is pressed Apple tv 4

Ok so when streaming from my iTunes library the sound can be very quiet and i have to turn the volume up to double what it normally is on my TV.

Now if i pause or slightly rewind the program i am watching the sound comes back to a normal level and i end up having to turn the TV Volume back down as it is far too loud. Now this never happened on my Apple TV3. Is anyone else experiencing this on there new Apple TV 4?

Check your volume adjustment settings, both in iTunes and the AppleTV. I'd be willing to bet that on your old AppleTV the automatic volume adjustment was turned off, but it's turned on in the new one (and also turned on in iTunes, so they're both adjusting the volume simultaneously). Or they just don't cooperate as well with the new model.

No it is off in iTunes and i can not find a function like that on the Apple TV 4. I have toggled with the sound settings in the Apple TV menu and still have the problem. Everything starts quiet then i have to rewind it a little and the sound comes back to normal

Yes I have the same or similar issue. Mine happens more on the showtime anytime app, if I pause the show and restart the volume is muffled or lower. If I rewind 10 sec or back out of the show, replay the volume is back to normal or louder. Waiting on tv os 10 update, if it doesn't fix the bug I'll return or exchange it.

Update on my post above TV OS 10 fixed the issue I was having with the volume.
