ipad
i forgot my iPad pin. permanently locked out from trying. message says to connect through i tunes but that leads no-where. Any advice would be much appreciated.

You've connected the iPad to your computer's iTunes, does that recognise the iPad ?
If it does recognise it then you've followed the instructions on this page: If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support ?
