Q: Can I get iMessage/Messages on my 2008/2009 MacBook?

I would really like to know if i am able to have iMessage or messages on my MacBook, the software is Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5. Messages would be really useful for me, thanks to anyone who can help

Depending on the model of your Macbook: If your model is 4,1 it is not possible (and you can not upgrade OSX beyond 10.7.5).
If you have model 5,1 (Aluminium) or later you can upgrade OS to ElCapitan and then have Messages.
I suppose that you have 4,1 and are not able to update OSX.
