Go to Settings > Send & Receive and uncheck her phone number and email address(es) if they are there.  You'll also want to check Text Forwarding and make sure her device(s) isn't shown there or she will get your text messages.

As I side note, Apple intends an iCloud account be an individual account.  They provided Family Sharing to support this concept of sharing while keeping data independent.  As it stands, with sharing an iCloud account, she can enable and receive your texts when she wants and you can do the same to her texts. Click here to set up Family Sharing  You could make the shared iCloud account a member of your Family and both receive the apps, music, video, etc purchased under that account in most cases and receive the privacy of having your own individual iCloud accounts.
