My iPod 5th Gen is not syncing with my Windows 10 laptop running iTunes 12.3.1.23

I'm attempting to connect my 5th Generation iPod to My iPod 5th Gen is not syncing to iTunes 12.3.1.23. I am using Windows 10 and have all current updates installed.

I have attempted using different USB ports

I have attempted full re-starts of both devices

When I tried to connect my iPod to a different computer using the same Sync cable, that computer DID recognize it.


Do you have any ideas?
